The Weekly Pause - Glory
When celebration becomes worship.

Hello friend,
Today, many of us will gather with family and friends to celebrate. Most of these celebrations will include fireworks, flags, music, laughter, and gratitude for the freedoms we’ve been given.
As I’ve thought about this weekend, one quiet thought has stayed with me.
So much glory will be given tomorrow.
And it has reminded me how grateful I am to know The One who deserves it all.
Every good gift. Every beautiful moment. Every freedom. Every breath.
Our celebration doesn’t end with what God has given us. It leads us back to the Giver.
“Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.”
— Psalm 115:1
As you celebrate this weekend, my prayer is that your heart would find joy not only in the good and perfect gifts He provides, but in the God who gives them.
If this reflection encouraged you, I’d love to invite you into The Lovely Crux.
It’s a contemplative membership where I share weekly reflections like this one, prayers, studio glimpses, and the quiet ways God is shaping my own walk with Him. It’s simply a place to slow down, pay attention, and keep walking closely with Christ together.
I’d love to have you there. Simply upgrade your subscription to join us.
