The Weekly Pause - Easter
Resting in the God who notices and knows.
He is risen. Come and see.
Dear friend,
This week, we pause differently.
There are moments in the life of faith that don’t need to be explained, only received.
Easter is one of them.
Before understanding, before theology, before words can fully form - there is simply this:
The tomb is empty.
Christ is risen.
And something in us is invited to respond,
not with effort,
but with wonder.
If you feel joy, let it rise.
If you feel quiet, let it be enough.
If you feel unsure, you are not outside of this moment.
You are still invited.
+ Scripture Meditation
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.”
— Matthew 28:6
+ A Written Prayer
Risen Christ,
We come without needing to explain
what we cannot fully understand.
You have overcome death.
You have made a way where there was none.
Where we feel weary,
breathe life.
Where we feel uncertain,
be our hope.
Let resurrection meet us gently—
right where we are.
Amen.
This is the crux:
Resurrection does not ask for our understanding - only our receiving.
⸻ A Deeper Pause for Paid Members ⸻
Paid members of The Lovely Crux are invited to remain here in quiet stillness - allowing the reality of the resurrection to settle gently, without words, without urgency.
+ A Call to Renewal & Revival
May hope rise in you.
May life meet you again.
May Christ be near.
With you in this pause,
Michelle
