Hey Friend!
Have you noticed the shift in the seasons? Here in the Lowcountry, everything is springing to life. The goodness of God can be seen everywhere you look. I can even celebrate all the pollen because I know it is essential for all the flowering plants we are about to enjoy! It is in Creation that I most often see God manifest in all His goodness + I love capturing it in my Botanical paintings.
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Did you know that God shows us His goodness because He hopes it will draw us near Him? In fact, everything He does is for our good because He wants us to share in His joy - He wants us to mimic Him + show goodness to others. One of the ways I try to do this is through my artwork; I hope you see how much I love Jesus + share in His joy when you look at what I make.
Do you believe that God intends goodness for you?

Born under Japanese occupation, Park Seo-Bo (b. 1931) is known as one of Korea’s most significant early modernists and is widely considered one of the leading figures in contemporary Korean art.
In the 1950’s, he was one of the first to introduce abstraction into what was then a very conservative art world, balancing tradition with the rising influence of the West. Park Seo-Bo's predominantly monochrome experiments with linear abstraction helped define Dansaekhwa, an essential movement within Korean modernism.
The reductive simplicity of these works is pure goodness to me.
I hope something here put a smile on your face, inspired you, or warmed your heart! If it did, I would love to hear your response.
