Happy Tuesday!
Hope you’re having a nice start to the week and that you are beginning to enjoy some warmer, sunnier days wherever you are! Thankfully, I’ve had the occasion to open up the studio doors and just do some meditative painting like making color swatches. I love spending Sunday’s in the studio, not making anything to sell, just painting for the pure pleasure and joy of it. I think I’ll start a convo about this on our Chat board. I’d love for you to jump in and respond.
Here’s your monthly video walk-through of the studio! Take a look at what’s currently on hand and also what I am working on. These are 👀 “for your eyes only” 👀 because you’ve decided to join my email list + go a little deeper. So thanks and, Enjoy!

If you have any questions or interest in the pieces shown in the video, they can be found on my studio site here or through Charleston Artist Collective. Feel free to email me at michelle@michelleowenby.com or comment on this post for more info.
I started Bullet Journaling this year for the first time and I have really found it useful and satisfying. I tend to rely on digital tools to keep me organized but I have really been feeling the pull back towards pen and paper and away from screens and one thing I have noticed is that I tend to remember more when I write it down vs. typing it. Do you have thoughts or experiences to share along these lines? Tell me about it in the comments.
My family has had a lot going on this month with 2 different abbreviated Spring Breaks (my boys are in 2 different schools and the dates didn’t align), a college campus tour and a short trip to do some flyfishing. In the midst of all this, we were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon this putt-putt in Hilton Head, SC. Because of their boldness to share their faith, I felt compelled to share a shot from the course with you.
I had originally planned to release my Spring Collection the first week of May but that release will need to be delayed a bit due to some health issues I need to address right now. I promise to keep you posted on the new release date and remember because you are a subscriber you always get first looks and first dibs!! Yay!
I will be releasing 3 new works with the Charleston Artist Collective on May 1st for their monthly theme “Organic”. (If you watched the Sneak Peek video you’ve already gotten to see them). Every month a percentage of all gallery sales goes to a charitable organization. I love the way they give back like this, it so aligns with my heart for loving and supporting people. And this beautiful thing happened!!
Finally, the first month of A Soulful Calling will be published on May 3rd. These emails will provide a weekly spark for creating a more meaningful, soulful life. They will come in the form of inspirational, actionable encouragements and insights to help you thrive. I would love the opportunity to engage and encourage you in this way. If you are interested, consider upgrading your subscription today so you don’t miss a single one!
xoxo,
Michelle
