Definition of Mercy

: compassion or forbearance (see FORBEARANCE sense 1) shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one's power also: lenient or compassionate treatment

: imprisonment rather than death imposed as penalty for first-degree murder

: a blessing that is an act of divine favor or compassion

: a fortunate circumstance

: compassionate treatment of those in distress

WEEK 1: INSPIRATION

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

• This week take time to read and meditate on God’s Word.

• Study what this passage is saying.

• Dig a little deeper by doing a SOAP.

• Consider trying to memorize it. Write it on an index card or post-it note and place it somewhere you will frequently see it.

WEEK 2: REFLECTION

Who needs the gift of your grace right now?Instead of running away from hard conversations or circumstances, can we allow God to use those to teach us how to extend grace to others or even ourselves?
