I challenge you all to make a list of the five people you spend the most time with….write down their strengths and weaknesses. And most importantly write down the ways they either are or are not like Christ.
Do the five people you spend the most time with help you grow spiritually? Do they challenge you to grow in the Lord? Or are they all flesh, vanity, self, and the world?
Be honest. If you asked someone else’s honest opinion would they agree with your evaluation or not?
Adjust accordingly.
We should strive to spend the most time with people who we desire to be most like…and those people should be like Jesus.
Your friends affect your future.
