Hello, precious friend!
This week, I want to invite you to linger with a truth that can be hard to receive, but is already yours:
You are fully known.
And fully loved.
In a world where love often feels like something we have to earn or maintain, The Lovely Crux is here to remind us: God's love begins before our becoming. It is steady. Unshaken. Safe.
*If you missed last week’s post, I encourage you to circle back to it - it sets the stage for these weekly encouragements from me as we look up, in, and out.
+ A Gentle Beginning
Take a moment now—wherever you are.
Place your hand gently over your heart. Close your eyes.
Breathe in slowly and say aloud:
“I am fully known and fully loved.”
Let this truth soften your inner defenses. Let it root you down in the love of God.
+ Scripture Meditation
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart…”
—Jeremiah 1:5
Pause here.
God’s knowing of you is not a distant awareness—it is deep, tender, intentional.
There is nothing hidden from Him, and nothing that lessens His love.
This is the crux: God has a specific, holy purpose for your life, even before you were born, God knew you, and made plans for you.
+ Beauty Reflection (Visio Divina)
This week’s visual meditation is an image of a heart labyrinth—a small, sacred reminder that your identity is marked by the hand of the Creator.
As you gaze, gently ask yourself these questions. Let the answer rise without judgment. Just bring it into the presence of the Lord.
Where do I need to believe that I am chosen, known, and fully loved by God?
What do you realize about God’s nature and character because of this?
+ Prayer Prompts (for your journal, your prayer time, or your heart)
What am I laying down as I enter this space?
What do I long to receive from God in this season?
Thank you for knowing me and loving me despite ________________________.
Heal the ________________ in me that doubts Your delight.
Let me rest in Your embrace. I know you are _____________________.
