Art + Soul is my online journal and monthly newsletter where I simply strive to love you well, share my journey and offer sparks for living a more meaningful, soulful life.

On my Art + Soul journey, one particular piece of scripture has continually captured, inspired, and encouraged my soul…

I consider this publication and my art studio to be part of my life Mission and Ministry. God called me to all these things. He called me to redeem the time by being a good steward of my gifts and talents. And, because He is such a good Father, He continues showing me how to use these things to reach others for His kingdom. I just love how He allows us to participate in all He is creating!

A little about me…and You!

I am a child of God. Lover of the stars, the seas, and the mountains.  A wife. A mother. A daughter. A friend. A Southerner. A student of all that intrigues me. A traveler. A muser. A singer of songs. A seeker of truth + knowledge. An artist. A writer. A mentor.

A recent spiritual revelation brought forth a whole new direction to my life; it awakened the parts of me that had been lulled to sleep since my childhood. This has ignited a fire in me that is involuntarily expressed through my artistic work, writing, and The Lovely Crux community, where I mentor women spiritually. The Lord put new purpose, passion and meaning in my life that I simply can't help but respond in gratitude and awe. Any lovely thing that comes from me is only because of His great grace and creativity! 

My hope is that my work may somehow bring a smile, soothe a heart, evoke emotion, and reveal the loveliness around us all if we just squint our eyes a tiny bit.
